Struts and Frets Theatre is a UK based production house and multinational team of independent theatre practitioners.

Our aim as a theatre company and a production house is to use our diverse and collective talents - as actors, directors, producers, movement directors, dancers, musicians, singers, burlesque performers, set designers, costume designers and workshop leaders – to collaborate and create challenging and unconventional productions, through innovation or by commission, anywhere in the world, in person or online.

Frustrated by the lack of good opportunities afforded women in theatre and film, we also set up this company to give women and girls a voice on stage and in the world.

We aim to promote cultural, political and gender equality and discussion through the arts, engaging an audience with a view to promoting positive change and transformation, in the individual and in society. We create and hold educational and transformational workshops, to accompany our performances or as standalone projects.
